Custom pages issue

Sometimes when I try to drag a photo page into the book, the page does not drop into place but hangs onto my cursor and follows it all around the page. It won’t drop into the trash. I can’t get rid of it. If I click on ‘save’ or ‘cancel’, it will take me out of there but the photo page travels with me and then I have to wait an interminable length of time for ‘typesetting’. So, of course, I give up and log out and back in again.

Is this related to my other problem of S-L-O-W loading??

Slow connection speed could cause this problem, but more likely is your Internet Browser. Please make sure you are using Firefox or Internet Explorer 7 as your web browser. (I highly recommend FireFox, especially with your large photo files)

I changed my mind about a particular custom page, but I cannot figure out how to delete it. How do you delete an empty custom page? The grey boxes are still there, but I want the text on the following page to go back one page where the custom page is now.

To remove a custom page, you will open “Manage Custom Pages” and drag the page to the trash can. The trash can will turn yellow and you can let go. Then save your changes to return to your book.
